WARM vs. COOL

Warm or Cool mist? Both offer the same benefits, so it comes down to personal preference.

Warm Mist units work with liquid inhalants like Vicks VapoSteam® to provide cough relief and added comfort.

Cool Mist humidifiers help maintain overall room temperature and are recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics.

ROOM SIZE

It is important to understand the size of the room where the humidifier will be used. Buying the right humidifier will ensure that you get desired results.

Small: up to 250 sq. ft.
Medium: up to 400 sq. ft.
Large: up to 600 sq. ft.

FILTERED vs. FILTER FREE

Filtered (Evaporative) humidifiers remove minerals from the water and deliver invisible moisture into the air.

Filter free (Ultrasonic) models deliver visible mist but should be used with demineralization cartridges to help prevent white dust.

RUN TIME & CAPACITY

If you plan to use the humidifier at night, look for big tank capacity and long enough run time so that you can sleep worry-free.
